“One time I watched Blair Witch The Project with my bestfriend and another girl. And I didn’t sleep for two days and I always find myself running up stairs like a ape on acid, because of that scene in the end when that lady dies in the staircase and the camrea points towards the stairs where the witch walks up.”

“I’ve always been afraid of the dark, so movies like 13 ghosts and the grudge (Where something is hiding in the dark or even plain sight) scare me the most.”

“Once I watched Saw at my best friend’s house (she made me watch it) even tho I’m a scaredy cat. It freaked me out of course and to this day I have a fear of bathtubs. To make matters worse when I got home my tub had rust on it making it look like blood. I didn’t use that bathroom till my mom scrubbed out the tub.”

“As a child, Goosebumps never scared me; in fact, I used to watch it religiously… until I saw the episode with the werewolf. I refused to watch the series again until my early teens, and I even went as far to hide the books because of their covers. Heck, I was even scared that floating shadow of the G would follow me to school. I wonder what happened; now I adore horror flicks and “haunted houses”, and werewolves have even become one of my favorite movie topics.”

Hi, Sixpence :)
I looked Goosebumps up on Google and realized just how many books RL Stine actually wrote about Werewolves.. A LOT! and there are two episodes that have Werewolves in them.. Not totally sure that they are the only episodes, but that’s what I can see anyway!
The Werewolf of Fever Swamp and Werewolf Skin.. So I just used the first picture that looked good, since there wasn’t very many to pick from for some reason.. Dumb internet.. I totally thought Goosebumps would have tons of pictures of the episodes especially! :S
I also used to love Goosebumps, I used to watch the show all the time too:) I still have the books also Lol I used to get them at the library at school every week:P, Goosebumps, Fear Street and the Nightmare Room. Omg, now I want to read these books!! haha:D
“I dont remember the movie but it starts off in a childs bedroom and while the child is sleeping it pans over to the closets that are slightly open and all u see is bright red eyes staring out.it scared the shit outta me..and til this day i will not sleep with the closet open or the door open”

“Ever since I watched the Sixth Sense for the first time when it came out. The one scene has always stuck with me. The scene where Cole follows the red balloon and while he’s climbing the stairs you hear a voice coming from that creepy door at the top of the stairs. He gets locked inside and his mom can’t even open the door to help him. That scene has always terrified me.”

“I hate having the shower curtain closed. I always feel like someone is behind there and it freaks me out. If I go into the bathroom and it’s closed I always open it back up again.”

“The first horror movie I saw was The Decent. It scared me so bad I couldn’t finish watching it. I tried re-watching it recently, but couldn’t.”

“After I watched 13 Ghosts a while ago, I couldn’t sleep. And to this day, that film petrifies me. In fact, I get so scared I almost start to cry.”

“I can watch any horror movie without being scared… except for The Grudge. I haven’t seen it yet, and I don’t know if i’ll be able to.”

“The first horror movie to cause nightmares for me was the recent rendition of “Don’t be Afraid of the Dark”. I woke up screaming thinking the creatures had started attacking me.”

“I’m afraid to watch ‘The Unforgiven’ Emily Browning’s character reminded me of myself after I had seen it the first time it induced a psychotic episode If i see it again i’m afraid that the same thing will happen.”

eeek! I’ve heard of people being really bothered by movies. I even have a few that I will never watch again just because they bothered me so bad, the images are like burned into my eyelids or something :S … This is part of why I started this blog because I wanted to see that other people were afraid too. Not just me. Thank you for sharing your confession and be safe while watching horror movies. They all effect people in different ways.
“I hate when people complain about The Blair Witch Project about how you never see the witch. THAT’S THE POINT! They could have showed us a crappy special effects laden witch but instead they made us imagine what could have been chasing them. That’s so awesome!”

YES! thank you! I’ve always hated that. I loved how they made us use our imagination, not many horror directors know how to make that happen anymore. I think Blair Witch was the last of everyone’s imagination.
“It’s not from a horror movie but The Seamstress from the movie 9 freaks me the hell out. I creepy doll-headed, robotic, snake thing? Yea, not a fun creature. I hate dolls to begin with. It haunted my dreams for a month after seeing it”

Yeah, I agree. I REALLY love Tim Burton and everything he creates,directs/produces to death but I thought that doll thing was creepy too. That doll, and also that effed up cyborg one from Toy Story haha
“it always gives me serious shivers when Joshua Jackson takes a photo of himself in Shutter and the ghost girl is on his shoulders”
